On 28 May 2026, Dr. Oleg Kalmykov, Head of the GreenBuild Project Team at O.M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, participated in ConTech Connect 2026, an international event dedicated to construction technologies, digital transformation, innovation, and the future of the built environment, held in Paris, France.

The participation was organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project “Green & Energy-Efficient Building Design for UA Renovation (GreenBuild)” and contributed to the dissemination and promotion activities of the project.

ConTech Connect 2026 brought together more than 1,000 participants from 27 countries, including representatives of universities, engineering companies, technology providers, investors, start-ups, and construction industry professionals.

The event provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience related to digital engineering, Building Information Modelling (BIM), industrialized construction, automation, and sustainable building practices. Particular attention was given to the role of innovative technologies in supporting the future reconstruction of Ukraine and improving the resilience and sustainability of the built environment.

During the event, the GreenBuild project objectives and activities were presented to international stakeholders, contributing to increased visibility of the project and strengthening cooperation opportunities with organizations working in the fields of sustainable construction, energy-efficient buildings, and digital transformation.

Participation in international dissemination events such as ConTech Connect supports the GreenBuild project’s mission of promoting modern approaches to green and energy-efficient building design and fostering international collaboration for the sustainable reconstruction of Ukraine.
